I Withdraw My Energetic Consent
Lately I have been pondering what it truly means to unplug from the matrix without unplugging from life.
Not escaping the world.
Not disconnecting from people.
Not retreating into silence.
But rather… learning how to remain fully present while no longer feeding what drains us.
As I sat with this question in meditation, an understanding poured over me so simply that I almost laughed.
If all things — and I mean all things — are energy…
Then we have the ability to withdraw our energetic participation from anything that does not serve our highest good.
The words came to me gently and clearly:
“I withdraw my energetic consent.”
That was it.
Nothing elaborate.
Nothing ritualistic.
No complicated process.
Just a conscious declaration.
I began saying it quietly to myself — sometimes out loud, sometimes internally — whenever I felt pulled into something heavy, draining, chaotic, or simply not aligned with who I am becoming.
And something shifted.
Not figuratively.
Literally.
I felt a lightness in my body.
A lightness in my emotions.
A lightness in my psyche.
It moved through me all the way to my core, like cords gently releasing and falling away.
It almost felt too simple.
And that is exactly the point.
We move through life believing that in order for something to change, it must be hard.
That growth must be complicated.
That release must be dramatic.
hat healing must take years.
But what if sometimes it is as simple as choosing not to energetically participate in what no longer serves?
When I gently chided Spirit and asked why this had not been shown to me sooner, the response was immediate and loving:
You have always known.
You were simply not ready to listen.
This is not about disconnecting from life.
It is about reconnecting with your sovereignty within it.
You can say this phrase anytime you feel pulled into something that does not align with your peace, your truth, or your path:
When you feel caught in old emotional patterns
When fear-based conversations begin to hook into you
When someone else’s energy feels overwhelming
When you notice yourself spiraling into worry or self-doubt
When the noise of the world feels too loud
Simply pause.
Take a breath.
And say, with intention:
“I withdraw my energetic consent.”
You are not pushing anything away.
You are not resisting life.
You are simply choosing what you will and will not energetically feed.
Notice what happens in your body.
Notice what happens in your thoughts.
Notice what shifts in your emotional field.
Allow it to be simple.
Allow it to be gentle.
Allow it to be enough.
I gently invite you to incorporate this into your daily life.
Try it for a few days.
Whisper it when needed.
Speak it with intention.
Feel what changes.
If you feel called, share your experience.
Reach out.
Tell me where you notice the lightness, the release, the subtle but powerful shift.
Sometimes the most profound transformations come not from doing more…
but from consciously choosing what we no longer energize.
And sometimes, reclaiming your energy begins with four simple words:
I withdraw my energetic consent.
In light, clarity, and energetic sovereignty,
Theri
