What If the Block Isn’t the Problem?

There are moments on the path where something feels… stuck.

Not just delayed.
Not just uncertain.
But held.

You can feel that there’s something on the other side—
something ready to open, shift, or move—
and yet, no matter how much you try to push forward,
you meet resistance.

And the instinct is almost immediate:

Break through it.

Push harder.
Try again.
Figure it out.

But what if that instinct is the very thing keeping you in place?

We’ve been taught, in so many ways, that resistance means something is wrong.

That if something isn’t moving,
it must be fixed, solved, or pushed past.

But not all resistance is a wall.

Sometimes… it’s a pause.

A sacred pause that isn’t here to stop you—
but to redirect your attention.

Because often, the moment that feels like a block
is actually revealing something deeper:

A place within you that hasn’t been fully seen.
A part of you that hasn’t been fully heard.
A layer that isn’t asking to be forced through—
but gently brought into the light.

And the more we push past it,
the more it quietly holds its ground.

Instead of asking:

“How do I get through this?”

Try asking:

“What is this trying to show me?”

That subtle shift changes everything.

Because what we often label as a block
is actually an invitation.

An invitation into deeper awareness.
Into compassion for the parts of ourselves we’ve outgrown…
but not yet fully embraced.

This is where true movement begins.

Not from force.
Not from urgency.
But from understanding.

And more often than not,
this is where forgiveness lives.

Not as something surface-level,
but as something deeply rooted—
waiting to soften the very place that feels immovable.

There is nothing wrong with you for being in that space.

You are not behind.
You are not blocked.

You are standing at a threshold.

And sometimes, the most powerful step forward
is not the one where you push…

but the one where you pause,
turn inward,
and meet what’s been waiting for you there.

Because once it is seen,
once it is held,
once it is understood—

the path doesn’t need to be forced open.

It opens on its own.
