You Can Loosen Your Grip and Still Love
Sometimes we hold tightly because we care deeply. This week’s meditations and readings invited me to explore how love can remain while we release constant worry, allow life to change, and give ourselves permission to rest. Perhaps there is more room to breathe than we realize.
What Are You Carrying Through the Door?
Some doorways lead us home. Others lead us into change. Before crossing the next one, pause and ask what you want to bring with you—and what you are ready to leave behind.Featured image alt textAn open wooden doorway leads to a sunlit garden path, while a travel bag rests beside the threshold.CategorySpiritual ReflectionsTagsletting go, life transitions, spiritual growth, self-reflection, intuition
What If the Weight You're Carrying Isn't Yours?
Have you ever felt exhausted for no obvious reason—as though you're carrying a weight you can't quite explain? During a recent meditation, my guide showed me that I was wearing a backpack filled with rocks, but most of them didn't belong to me. That simple image became a powerful reminder that we often carry ancestral burdens, old stories, other people's expectations, and emotional weight that was never ours to hold. Join me as I explore the gentle practice of releasing one "rock" at a time and discovering the freedom that comes with walking a little lighter.
